David Chipperfield Architects gana el Concurso de Arquitectura Nobel Center en Estocolmo.
Ever since the inception of the Nobel Prize, a building where the Nobel Prize, the Nobel Laureates and their achievements can be presented to the general public has been envisioned. A new Nobel Center will now be built on a site provided by the City of Stockholm.
An architectural competition for the building has been in progress, and eleven architectural firms accepted an invitation to participate. In this exhibition the eleven proposals are presented in posters, text and models.
The jury has selected three of the proposals for further refinement and also these can be seen in the exhibition. The winning proposal was presented on 9 April 2014.
